Average Weight: Male- 45-60 pounds Female- 35-50 pounds
The Siberian Husky is a medium sized, moderatly compact, working dog; he is quick and light on his feet, free and graceful in action. He does not carry excess weight and is capable of carrying a light load at a moderate speed over great distances. He has a keen, but friendly expression, his almond shaped eyes set a trifle obliquely. They may be brown or blue, or one of each color, or even parti-colored, all being acceptable. the medium sized skull is slightly rounded on top and tapers from the widest point to the eyes. The bridge of the nose is straight and the muzzle tapers gradually to the nose which is black in gray, tan or black dogs, liver in copper dogs and may be flesh colored in pure white dogs.
